NASCAR vs Navy: The San Diego Movie

Recent work capturing photography assets for NASCAR vs Navy: The San Diego Mini Movie, now streaming on Amazon Prime. Click here to watch.

Shot on location in San Diego with Concept 80, this project involved producing a full stills gallery across the production from hero assets used for posters, thumbnails and website banners, to staged photography of cast members and NASCAR drivers, social media content for promotion, and behind-the-scenes coverage of the shoot.

The BTS gallery deserves its own post, so more from that side of the production will be shared in a later blog.

Huge thank you to Concept 80 for trusting me with this project.

Lotus Emeya: From the Alps to the Billboards

Lotus Cars commissioned me to capture imagery for their latest campaign, creating a full suite of visuals that would work everywhere from giant roadside billboards around London, to social feeds viewed on a phone screen.

The final assets went on to feature across some of London’s most recognisable locations – including the entrance and departure lounge at London City Airport, 14 London Underground stations, large-format Chelsea billboards, as well as Lotus’ social media channels, press materials and website.

Extreme Hydrogen Testing

A look back at a recent shoot with Extreme H, photographing the brand-new Pioneer 25 during an official test at Fontjoncouse.

The location was more than just a backdrop. Fontjoncouse is one of Europe’s most notorious off-road test sites, used for decades by Dakar Rally and rally-raid teams, and it gave us the perfect setting to capture the car being pushed to its limits.

With Molly Taylor and Kevin Hansen behind the wheel, the day was all dust, heat, speed and waiting for the next pass — often from somewhere buried in the bushes, trying to hold position as the Pioneer 25 tore past.

The project was about documenting the next step in hydrogen-powered racing: a new car, a demanding environment, and the energy around a championship moving into new territory.

Behind the Season with Jaguar TCS Racing

This season took me around the world, documenting the team from the details inside the garage and the quiet moments before a race, to the rooftops of São Paulo and the podium celebrations.

Being embedded with a team means seeing a side of motorsport that most people don’t: the long days, the small details, the constant work behind the scenes, and the people who make each race weekend happen.

It was a privilege to photograph a season that ended with Jaguar TCS Racing becoming Teams’ World Champions, and to help tell the story of the people behind that achievement.

Here are a few of the 4,500+ frames I delivered across the season.

FIA Formula E Season 10

Season 10 of FIA Formula E was a thrilling journey from start to finish. An opportunity to shoot arguably one of the most difficult subjects in some of the world’s most iconic cities and locations globally. I started the season working with Spacesuit Media, capturing content for Formula E, Andretti, and Envision Racing during round 1 in Mexico City, a truly beautiful track designed for racing. Saturday morning during the 7 am FP2 start we were blessed with a sunrise session allowing me to capture my favourite track content of the season…

From Mexico, I followed the series to round 4 in São Paulo, round 5 in Tokyo, and rounds 6 & 7 in Misano, Italy (not including all the impromptu ski trips and adventures in between flights of course)

Midway through the season, I was invited to work exclusively for Jaguar TCS Racing, a huge honour and a new challenge for me to explore. Starting with round 8 in Monaco, I documented their drivers Mitch Evans and Nicky Cassidy's successes ultimately leading to an unforgettable final race in London where Jaguar clinched the team championship, with Cassidy and Evans finishing 2nd and 3rd overall— both an incredibly difficult but season for the team to remember.
